Gubernatorial candidate Charles Lollar has chosen Ken Timmerman to be his Lieutenant Governor running mate.
Annapolis — Gubernatorial candidate Charles Lollar has chosen Ken Timmerman to be his Lieutenant Governor running mate.
Timmerman is a New York Times best-selling author and was the lead outside investigator in a lawsuit against Iran on behalf of the families of Sept. 11 victims. For his work in exposing Iran’s clandestine nuclear weapons program, he was nominated for the Nobel Prize in 2006 along with Ambassador John Bolton.
From 2000-2002, Timmerman was vice-president, then president, of the Maryland Taxpayers Association. In 2012, Timmerman was the Republican nominee for Maryland’s 8th Congressional District.
