Chairman's Message
Lincoln Reagan Dinner is Here!
It is Lincoln Reagan Dinner week, and I could not be more excited. Our dedicated volunteers have been working in earnest to put on a fabulous event for you on Thursday, May 8 at the Gaithersburg Hilton, starting at 6:30pm. We have many wonderful items donated for the silent auction, an outstanding menu featuring dual entrees, and a terrific lineup of guest speakers. I cannot wait to see you there.
Our featured speaker, former Virginia Governor Jim Gilmore has an extremely important message to share with us. He succeeded to Virginia’s highest office by delivering a consistent message to the voters. His laser-like focus on ending the highly unpopular car tax resonated with voters across a wide swath of the political spectrum. As we fight to END ONE PARTY RULE in Montgomery County, we can learn valuable lessons from Governor Gilmore’s experience.
This is our most important fundraiser of the year. This is where we earn the money needed to keep our headquarters as a place that candidates can meet and coordinate with their volunteers in the months leading up to the elections. This is where we earn the money needed to print and distribute literature to educate the low information voters that all too often decide our elections. This is where we earn the money to run an absentee ballot distribution campaign to bolster our Get Out The Vote efforts. Without your generous support, we will not have the resources to make a meaningful impact on the November elections.
For those of you who cannot attend, please consider making a donation to the MCGOP. The protection of individual liberties and economic prosperity is too important; the stakes have never been higher. Now is the time to get involved. If money is tight (and given our outrageous tax burden, that is completely understandable) then please consider giving of your time. Visit our website and check out the calendar of events to find ways to get involved.
I am looking forward to seeing old and new friends at the dinner. Let us get dressed up and come together to celebrate our hard working volunteers and donors, and lay the groundwork for victory in November and beyond. Thank you for your continued support, and we will see you on the 8th!
