Be sure to save this date: July 31st 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM

We have a promise to attend from all the candidates who will be on the ballot in the County.Brighton Dam Park, 2 Brighton Dam Rd, Brookeville, MD 20833

Senate                                                Kathy Szeiliga
Congressional District 3                 Dr. Mark Plaster
Congressional District 6                 Amie Hoeber
Congressional District 8                 Dan Cox

Yes, we have three congressional districts in Montgomery County. This nonsensical districting is the work of Jamie Raskin who is the Democrat candidate for Congress in District 8. He also introduced the Rain Tax bill. What he did for our state he will try to do for the country! If we can get out the vote in this district, we should be able to win as it is the one district that is fairly evenly divided between the parties.  Be sure to come and meet Dan Cox, a lawyer who has worked hard for conservative causes. He is a great candidate and you will enjoy talking with him.

In Congressional District 6, the Democrats are running the billionaire John Delaney again (… and they accuse us of having all the rich people.) He is very beatable as he came within a few thousand votes of losing in 2014. It is rumored that he is considering a run for governor in 2018. Losing this race would be a big trip up for him. Amie Hoeber is the candidate who will give him a run for his money. She ran a strong campaign in a large field of candidates. She has a company which advises the Defense Department She is very down-to-earth and approachable.

In Congressional District 3 the Democrats are offering Sarbanes yet again. Another do-nothing Congressman who think he owns the worst gerrymandered district in the country. He believes he is entitled to win. If anyone can beat him, it is Dr. Mark Plaster. He is an ER Doctor, a lawyer, a businessman and a Marine veteran of the Iraq war. … and such a friendly guy.
Be sure to talk  all the congressional candidates, whether you are in their district or not. Hopefully you will have a friend (or three) in Congress next year!

Then, do not miss your chance to meet Kathy Szeiliga who is running for Senate against Montgomery County’s own Chris Van Hollen, the self-proclaimed right hand man of Nancy Pelosi. Kathy is the dynamic no-nonsense business owner and state delegate who was elected  Minority Whip of the House during her first term. She ran a strong campaign in the primaries and is working tirelessly to prevent the senate seat from falling to the man who worked so hard to bring ObamaCare to us.
You are in for a treat when you meet our vibrant 2016 candidates.

There is a small cost to attend. Adults, $10.00; Families $20.00. The park charges a fee for non-senior adult attendees and we are providing hot dogs and drinks. There are also other grills if you want to cook something other than the hot dogs we have. And if you wish to bring a dish to share to that would be great too. Please bring your children as there is a playground and plenty of room to run.

We would appreciate a reply if you will be attending as the park needs the approximate number of attendees before the event. But if you forget to RSVP, do not let that keep you away.
